Q: Is the All Better Balm safe to use with cloth diapers?

A: Yes. All Better Balm will not affect the absorbency of the cloth diapers.

Q: What is the SPF of the Sun Defence?

A: At this point, we cannot give you a precise SPF for the Sun Defence. Based on research that I have done given the amount of zinc oxide in the product, it should provide between a 20-30 SPF, but that cannot be guaranteed at this point. We are working on having the product tested at a lab for the SPF and licensed as an official “Sunscreen” product in the future.

Q: Can I use Sun Defence on my baby under 6 months of age?

A: The reason you are not supposed to use commercial sunscreen on babies under 6 months of age is because the chemicals used in them are absorbed into the skin and have to be processed by the babies organs, which are not developed enough to do so. Sun Defence however, does not have any chemical ingredients, as the active ingredient is natural zinc oxide, which provides a physical barrier to the sun rather than absorbing into the skin. However, it is always advisable to check with your physician or midwife prior to using this product.

Q: Are your products scented?

A: Only two products currently have essential oils added to them to give them a mild scent – Belly Butter Bar and Massage Oil. All of the other products are completely fragrance-free.
