What are we putting on our skin?
Did you know that we have very few laws in Canada and the US governing skin care products? Unlike food products, many skincare products are not tested for their safety, or their toxicity. It is for this reason that I created Momma Goose products. I want to know precisely what is going onto my baby’s skin. After all, we avoid toxic things like alcohol and cigarettes while pregnant, don’t we want to continue with that kind of care once they are born? In all of our products, you can read and understand the ingredients on the labels. We only use wholesome, natural ingredients such as pure coconut oil, sweet almond oil and grapeseed oil (to name a few). The two products that have scents to them, Belly Butter Bar and Massage Oil, are very lightly scented with essential oils – nothing artificial. Just like we want to be aware of where our food has come from and what has been done to it…skin care products are just as important. Especially on such tiny, pure little babies
